You have many options with SocialNightlife; they include profile set up, send messages, establish/develop relationships, perform searches and queries, form groups, set up events, add applications, modify your page design, shop, and more. This information is collected so we can improve your experience and offer personalized features. For example, we generally retain it so you can return to view messages you have sent or easily see your friend list. You post User Content (as defined in the SocialNightlife.com Terms of Use) on the Site at your own risk. Although we have established privacy options that limit access to your pages, please know that no perfect security measures exist that can be guaranteed as impenetrable. In addition, we are unable to control the actions of other Users of whom you choose to share your information and pages with. Because of this, we cannot and do not guarantee that the content you post will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. Please also be aware that even after removal, copies of user data may remain viewable in cached and archived pages. It is a violation of SocialNightlife.com Terms of Service to misuse information provided on SocialNightlife. Improper collection/use should be reported to privacy@SocialNightlife.com. If you use our invitation service to invite or tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. Your friend will receive an email or instant message in your name inviting him/her to visit the site. SocialNightlife may send up to three reminders to them, after that. SocialNightlife stores this info to send invitations and reminders, to register a friend connection if your invitation is accepted, to allow you to see invitations you have sent, and to track the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at privacy@SocialNightlife.com to request that we remove this information from our database. In order to provide you with more useful information and a more personalized experience, SocialNightlife may also collect information about you from other sources. Examples of such sources are newspapers, blogs, instant messaging services, and other users of the SocialNightlife service through the operation of the service (e.g., photo tags). These are some examples; however SocialNightlife may also collect information from additional sources. By using SocialNightlife, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States. How Will SocialNightlife Use Information It Obtains?When registering with SocialNightlife, you will create your own profile and determine your privacy settings. Your profile information, name, email and photo, are displayed to people in the networks specified in your privacy settings. This enables you to connect with people on SocialNightlife. We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications/information regarding new services offered by SocialNightlife that you may find valuable. Profile information is used by SocialNightlife primarily to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service and to be presented to others permitted to view that information by your privacy settings. If privacy settings permit, there are situations where users may be able to supplement your profiles. Examples, include, but are not limited to postings, comments, etc. Your name, network name, and profile picture will be available in search results on the SocialNightlife network as determined in your Privacy Settings. Service-related announcements may be sent from SocialNightlife regarding general operation of the service. This may include, but is not limited to friends sending messages or gifts, or posting something on your wall. In these situations you will receive an email alerting you to the action. Generally, you may opt out of such emails from the Notifications page, though SocialNightlife reserves the right to send you notifications about your account even if you opt out of all voluntary email notifications. When you use SocialNightlife, certain information you post or share with others, such as personal information, photos, messages, comments, party confessions, videos, classified listings or other information, may be shared with other users in accordance with the privacy settings you select. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk. Additionally, if you disclose as personal information, photos, messages, comments, party confessions, videos, classified listings or other information it may become publicly available. When a Member who is located in the European Union chooses to post Profile Information that will be publicly disclosed, that Member is responsible for ensuring that such information conforms to all local data protection laws. SocialNightlife is not responsible under the EU local data protection laws for Member-posted information. Sharing Your Information with Third PartiesSocialNightlife may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. This is done to determine how many people in a network like a club, particular drink or movie and personalizing advertisements and promotions so that we can provide you with ads that you may benefit from. For example, if you put a favorite Club in your profile, we might serve you an advertisement highlighting an upcoming promotion or update about a new, similar, club in your town. But we don't tell the Club Operator who you are.SocialNightlife is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites or other services operated by third parties that are linked to or integrated with the SocialNightlife Services or for the privacy policy of third party Internet advertising companies. If you leave SocialNightlife Services via a link, access to a third party application (widgets, etc.) or click on an advertisement, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party or advertiser site to determine how they handle the information they collect. SocialNightlife Services may also be linked to sites operated by companies affiliated with SocialNightlife. Although all affiliated companies adhere to SocialNightlife Privacy Policy, Users who visit those affiliated sites should still refer to their separate privacy policies and practices, which may differ in some respects from this Privacy Policy. Third party applications (such as widgets) created by third party developers may also be available on the SocialNightlife Services. Third party applications are small bits of software, often with interactivity, that can be installed into Members’ profiles or shared with other Users. However, SocialNightlife does not control the third party developers, and cannot dictate their actions. When a Member engages with a third party application, that Member is interacting with the third party developer, not with SocialNightlife. SocialNightlife encourages Members not to provide information to the third party’s application unless the Member knows the party with whom it is interacting. SocialNightlife may on occasion partner with outside contractors, agents or sponsors. These businesses may temporarily store some information on their servers, but they may only use your information to provide SocialNightlife with a specific service and not for any other purpose. SocialNightlife may also provide your information to a third party in those instances where you have chosen to receive certain information and have been notified that the fulfillment of such a request requires the sharing of your information. SocialNightlife also may share your information with Affiliated Companies if it has a business reason to do so. Advertisements that appear on SocialNightlife are sometimes delivered directly to you by third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. Information that is removed may remain in backup copies for a limited time, but will not be available to members of SocialNightlife. Where you make use of the communication features of the service to share information with other individuals on SocialNightlife, however, (e.g., sending a personal message to another SocialNightlife user) you generally cannot remove such communications. SecuritySocialNightlife takes appropriate precautions to protect our users' information. Your account information is located behind a firewall, on a secured server. Email and instant messaging are not recognized as secure communications, so we request that you not send private information to us by email or instant messaging service. Terms of Use and RevisionsYour use of SocialNightlife, and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use and all of its dispute resolution provisions including arbitration, limitation on damages and choice of law.
